There is some single track on the WSU Campus in Salmon Creek. It isn't well known, and it's nothing stellar, but if you just need to get some dirt under your rubber after work, it's worth your time if you're in the neighborhood. There is some genuine singletrack in the parts of the trail that run adjacent to Mill Creek. If you do some loops and make a bit of spaghetti, it's not impossible to put in 6-8 miles. If you need some climbing, you can climb the road to the top of Mt. Vista. It's about 500 feet of climbing. Do it three or four times and you've got your climbing in for the day!

How to Find It

It's on the WSU Campus. There is a fairly obvious parking area off 50th avenue.

Typical Conditions

Barkdust on most of the trails. There is one really muddy section on the west side of Mill Creek that is goop for most of the year.

Advocacy & Stewardship

Supposedly the campus manages this trail. They don't get out there a lot. There are rumors about some guy in the neighborhood who sometimes does some work in there.

Turn by Turn

Just get on your bike and ride around the campus. You'll find it. It's impossible to get lost.
