This section of newer trails in the Black Diamond area are on the Real Life Church property and are known as the Summit Ridge Trails. Most of the XC trails in Summit Ridge are twisty, flowy, and technical trails with numerous bridges, skinnies, log rides, and ladders. The forest is fairly open with decent sight lines, and there are sections of amazine foxglove meadows.
There is also a flow park at Summit Ridge. What the flow park lacks in quantity (compared to something like Duthie Hill), it makes up for in quality! There are one or two lines suitable for beginners, one or two suitable for intermediates to advanced, and a few massively-burly lines for the experts to pros.</p
Connects to Black Diamond Open Space (BDOS), Lake Sawyer, and Henry's Ridge across the road.
Typical Conditions
Summit Ridge trails are well constructed and stay fairly dry and drain well year round.

Advocacy & Stewardship
There are 1100 acres of public land situated between Lake Sawyer, Ravensdale, Black Diamond, and Maple Valley. This acerage is composed of Lake Sawyer Regional Park, Black Diamond Natural Area, Ravensdale Reach, Henry's Ridge, and Cemetary Ridge. There's plenty of acerage for as many trails as we want on public lands.
The best advocacy we can do is be good stewards of the land and trails. Packing out trash, being polite to other trail users, and presenting a good image of mountain bikers will ensure King County keeps the trails open.
Turn by Turn
XC Trails
Agitator (Green Circle) is a quick and very easy loop with minimal obstacles and turns.
Holy Roller (Blue Square) is an intermediate two way way trail with short climbs and descents either way.
Revival (Blue Square) is a short trail with small obstacles, optional drops, and a creek crossing at the end. Combine with Holy Roller to make a loop.
Exodus (Blue Square) is a combination of flow and tech. The trail starts tight and technical with mid-sized obstacles, and later transitions in to a fast and flowy section with drops (both man made and natural), tabletop jumps and berms balanced out by short climbing sections.
Deliverance (Blue Square) is a tight, twisty and technical trail with some challenging sections.
Tribulation (Black Diamond) is a technical challenge with various bridge crossings, skinnies, drops, and a rock roller. Very tight and twisty with some hard to clear sections. There are hard and easy options throughout, and couple of bailout trails that will connect you to the gravel roads that run through Summit Ridge.
Freeride Trails
Berm-A-Nator (Green Circle) is a twisty, flowy line with lots of berms and rollers to learn on.
Roll'r Derby (Blue Square) is a speedy flow line with lots of airtime to be had. All jumps are rollable, but expect tabletop jumps, long berms, rollers that can jumped as doubles, and rollable drops.
ATM (Black Diamond) is an advanced gap jump line with two lines that can be combined in separate ways. With step-ups, step-downs, hips, spines, jumps into berms and jumps with both mellow and steep lips, it is a great line for learning different types of jumps.
Knucklehead (Blue Square and Black Diamond) is a very fast mini-downhill line with lots of random jumps, gaps, and fast technical sections. Ends with a very steep hill that leads into two giant gap jumps.
Gannonball Run (Double Black Diamond) is massive, experts only gap jump line with hits of increasing size. There is also an optional, short, split off line near the beginning that merges back onto the main line after two gaps. Biggest jump comes in at about 40 feet across!
