If shuttling, you can talk to the owner of the Bear Creek Lodge for rates and details or arrange shuttles with your group.

Local Points of Interest
If this is your first visit to Mt. Spokane, take a moment to enjoy the views from the summit. Just above the parking lot a granite and timber Vista House (circa 1933) perches atop a field of boulders, offering expansive views and a great spot to snap a photo.

Turn by Turn
All trails can be ridden as a loop, or shuttled.
If you wish to climb, you have several loop options but we'll describe one here, and leave the rest up to you to explore!
110 to 140 Loop:
Park at the pullout near the Ranger Station and pit toilet. Climb trail 110 (entrance near the pit toilet) to the saddle where the Kit Carson Loop Road (another pit toilet here) and Trail 140 intersects (140 will be on your left). Trail 110 ends here and the usual tendency is to make a right onto Kit Carson doubletrack and climb that to the Upper Summit Road and pedal the paved road to the Summit House of Mount Spokane. If you're cooked, you can skip the summit climb, make a left here and start down Trail 140 now. The climb to the summit, from parking lot to summit house is about 1900' in elevation gain.
At the Summit House, recharge and enjoy the views. The trail head for 140 is back downhill about 100 yards from the summit, on the left. Enter trail 140 and follow that down to the saddle where the Kit Carson Loop Road (another pit toilet here) and Trail 140 intersects. Here you will take the new singletrack to the right of trail 110 (the trail you climbed) and follow this rolling conntour trail all the way out to the double track. Make a left onto the double track and follow that about 200 yards and bear right downhill. You will follow this downhill around a bend across a creek and then look for a single track trail on your left. Be careful once you pass the creek, you want to be looking for the trail and not pass it! Enter the trail on the left (locally known as Jedi Woods) and follow that all the way down to the parking area of Bear Creek lodge. Note this is private property and please respect the owner's wishes.
Shuttle options:
If you wish to shuttle, typically you drive the to the summit and enter Trail 140 near the summit house. Once you get to the intersection of trail 140/110 and the pit toilet on the kit Carson Loop Road you can then choose to descend on Trail 140 or Trail 110. 140 is slightly less pedaling than 110 but they both lose elevation fast. Its more common to see people climb up 110 rather than 140 but you can expect 2 way traffic on all trails on Mount Spokane.
