Lake Sawyer is the area on the west side of Hwy169 and is on a mix of private property and King County Parks land. Much of the area is being developed, but some of old trails are still around and getting maintained. Check out the newly updated Toy Trail, Ed's Woods and Bridges Trail. Connects to Black Diamond Open Space (BDOS), Summit Ridge, and Henry's Ridge.

How to Find It

New Parking Lot: West side of SR-169, just north of parking lot for trails on the east side: 47.337479 -122.015448 (https://goo.gl/maps/zNVXQajEauu)

Note:  Many people park at the "Coal Cart" along SR-169 or along the gate which accesses the Summit Ridge trails. 

To SR-169 side access from Renton: From I-405 take SR-169 south towards Black Diamond. Pass through Four Corners shopping-Safeway on the left and continue toward the town of Black Diamond. The coal car will be on your right, and the Gate will be on your left.

Tight and twisty singletrack.
