Overview: Trail system being developed in cooperation with King County Parks. Similiar to Lake Sawyer system with somewhat more climbing/descending. Good drainage soils and tree cover. Currently about eight plus miles of trails plus new trails being built by Black Diamond Trail Coalition in conjunction with Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. Connects to Black Diamond Open Space (BDOS), Summit Ridge, and Lake Sawyer across the road.

How to Find It

There are a few options for trail entry to Henrys Ridge:

  1. Ride from Lake Sawyer trails
  2. Use the : Gracie Hansen Community Center parking area
  3. Park at the Hacienda Del Mar (Mexican Restaurant) on HWY-169 and ride SE 276th (Maple Ridge) into the neighborhood. There are trail entry points near the water tower half way up the hill. Look for the blue "King County Natural Area Boundary" signs.
  4. South of 4 Corners on Maple Valley Black Diamond Road to SE 276th and take a left (west). Follow along and it will turn into SE Maple Ridge Drive. At SE 281st Way just after the Skate Park and across from the water tower take a right and park along the road and go in at the "Boulders" Parking is limited there and please respect the neighbors and their access.
