This is another great trail near Greenwater. It is a bit of a grunt getting up, but the descent is one of the steepest you can find. Christoff isn't heavily used, but is a real gem for those who like a ripping descent.

How to Find It

Head towards Mt. Rainier on hwy 410. Once you're in Greenwater, park at the Fire Station, on your left just past town. This is the best place to park, just don't take up the stalls closest to the Station.

Typical Conditions

Really, really steep descent, loose in places. Can be overgrown in places at times. You'll find snow up top until late June.

Turn by Turn

Turn off Hwy 410 onto Forest Road 70, left on FR 7010, cross the creek, and follow 7010 all the way to the ridge top.

Turn Left at top of ridge, then follow the map (see below).

Make a note of where you drop off the Divide trail onto Christoff, if you miss that you'll end up at Mule Springs.

Rumor has it that there's a way to shuttle this trail.
