Etiquette / Short-cutting
Don't
Cut Corners.
Short-cutting switchbacks and corners destroys trail tread, accelerates erosion, and widens trails beyond their intended footprint. Every shortcut creates two problem spots: the entry and exit.
If a corner feels awkward or too tight, the sustainable fix is to ask Evergreen to reroute it — not to ride around it. Report problem spots through your local chapter.
