Volunteer Instructors

Shape your community.
Share your ride.

As an Evergreen instructor, you shape your community's direction and share your passion for mountain biking. Our volunteer instructors are central to everything we do — teaching beginners their first trail skills, coaching intermediate riders through technical features, and building the kind of welcoming community that makes Washington the best place to ride.

All instructors are PMBIA-certified and teach both youth and adults across Washington State. Certification training and education grants are available to help you get there.

Hear from an Instructor

“The value of volunteering for me comes from an opportunity to share my love of this sport — and getting to watch someone discover that joy on two wheels for the first time. There's nothing quite like it.”

— Galyn, Evergreen Instructor
