01 / Regional Overview
Where we ride.
The Columbia Basin chapter was established in Spring 2025 to serve the Tri-Cities mountain biking community across Benton, Franklin, and Walla Walla counties. Built on the groundwork laid by the Shrub Steppe Trails Alliance, the chapter addresses the region's historic shortage of formally designated trails by expanding sustainable, multi-use and mountain bike-specific trail access.
Signature trail areas include Badger Mountain, Candy Mountain Trails, and the State Patrol Trails near the Tri-Cities. The chapter operates through quarterly meetings, group rides, volunteer events, and active trail development initiatives across the basin's unique shrub-steppe landscape.
As one of Evergreen's newest chapters, Columbia Basin is building its volunteer base and trail network from the ground up. New members and first-time volunteers are especially welcome.
